Help bridge the gap in education through the Teach Learn Grow rural tutor program
Would you like to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged rural students in WA? Teach Learn Grow (TLG) is inviting applications for their volunteer program, running from 25th June to 1st July.
TLG’s mission is to improve the educational outcomes and aspirations of rural and Indigenous students in socio-disadvantaged areas so that they can reach their full potential.
As a tutor in the program, you will provide one-on-one mathematics tutoring to primary school students who are located in rural schools across WA. You'll improve your leadership and communication skills whilst gaining a first-hand understanding of the socioeconomic factors that affect education. You’ll also be making a lasting impact to the lives of disadvantage children in Western Australia.
This is a fantastic all-expenses paid volunteer opportunity, where you will also make new friends and learn new skills. No teaching experience is required as training will be provided. Applications close 24th March. Log in to Career Hub for more details and to apply.
