The ECU Student Guild Education & Welfare Officers are here to help you. So don’t struggle on alone - if you have a problem or something bothering you, please don’t hesitate to contact us (be assured we maintain your confidentiality at all times). Some of the services we offer to students are:

ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE
• Appeals – for any academic result or progression status (eg suspension/exclusion)
• Grievances
• Complaints – about any product/service of ECU; equity issues such as discrimination or harassment; student or staff misconduct
• Academic Misconduct (plagiarism/cheating etc)
• Thinking of dropping out of your course? Talk to us first to explore your options.

WELFARE ASSISTANCE

• Centrelink – advocacy, information, forms & appeals
• Tenancy/housing issues
• Legal issues
• Emergency Financial Assistance – short-term loans/food vouchers available (please note - eligibility criteria apply)
