Teaching Scholarships 2007
What will you receive?
You will receive a guaranteed job in a public school in a rural location for two years and double transfer points at the end of your two year contract.
Plus:
* up to $22 500 ($1 500/fortnight during your second semester of study)
* $3 000 settling in bonus at the beginning of your first year of teaching
* $2 500 bonus at the beginning of your second year of teaching
* $2 000 worth of other benefits
Starting salary
Your starting salary as a four year trained teacher in February 2008 will be
$45 733 + 9% superannuation + allowances of up to $11 000 (depending on location).
